Beach Escape

Is inspired by each beach I have visited. Since my very first visit to the beach, I have been craving that feeling I get when that un-explainable breeze hits my face and I hear the roars of the ocean and the chatter, of sea life. It sounds and feels like sweet glory from heaven, every time I am there! So, when I am painting, I try to put that feeling into my paintings.

City Gaze

Is inspired by my love for design and art. I love to gaze at the tall building and unique building while traveling. I also love the view of skylines with all the city lights at night. All of these paintings are reflected by the beautiful cities I have visited big and small.

In The Moment

Inspired by faith, hope and the love for creativity. I use a multi-color design to highlight the word(s) of expressions and sometimes I use re-purposed broken jewelry from thrift stores for a distinctive accent.

Home Beach Escape

I would love to go to the beach at least 50 times yearly, but I usually only get there a few times a year, so I savor each moment.  All of my beach escape painting are inspired by those precious moments.  My beach escape painting are great for a little beach escape at home, office or added flare to a beach home.

Art And Wood

Paintng on wood can be a little challenging, but rewarding when you have a completed piece. I have only been painting on wood a short period, but like the way my paint strokes bind with the wood. The picture to the right is an acrylic piece on recycled wood. The coating is Modge Podge Satin.

Paper Art

I love paper art. This is always a fun project for me. I just choose my colors and let my brush free style. No Art creation is the same. The longest process is the top glass like coating. It takes more than one coating to get the best finish. I love to add words of inspiration and thrift store Jewelry to the final creation.  I use all types of paper including recycled cardboard and other durable recycled paper. The creation to the left was made for my Mother inspired by Hope and Faith.

Recycled Bottle Art

A lonely unique bottle in a thrift store seems to always call my name and most of the time it gets to go home with me for a makeover. I sometime have no idea what I will do with the bottle when I get home, but I buy it any way and allow my passion and mood to guide me. I usually just create bottle Art pieces for family and friends. I created the set to the left with recycled olive oil bottles for a true cherished friend. I chose the accents colors based off of her favorite color and add a little inspiration.
